When we talk about “Inclusive education”, it can always be controversial. This is my perseption and my idea of “Inclusive”. So, hear me out. When I moved back to Japan where my origin resides, I did not think deeply about being included in the society or local. It is because we as a family, including my son who has autism, had been included in the local and society in the U.K. Howerver, in Japan, sadly, the idea of inclusion exists which means the society is failing to include the minority such as people has disability, have diffrent passport, or LGBTQs.
The education system is also based on the idea of bringing people up to their stage not to stay on the same floor. In order to be able to get on the stage, people need to step up and reach the hands who are on the stage. My idea of inclusive education is to stay on the floor and build the setting for people who have disability and try to find the way of what we can do to work together.
